Until Dreadnought fell out of the sky and died right in front of her, Danny was trying to keep people from finding out she\u2019s transgender. But before he expired, Dreadnought passed his mantle to her, and those secondhand superpowers transformed Danny\u2019s body into what she\u2019s always thought it should be. Now there\u2019s no hiding that she\u2019s a girl.<\/p>\n

It should be the happiest time of her life, but Danny\u2019s first weeks finally living in a body that fits her are more difficult and complicated than she could have imagined. Between her father\u2019s dangerous obsession with \u201ccuring\u201d her girlhood, her best friend suddenly acting like he\u2019s entitled to date her, and her fellow superheroes arguing over her place in their ranks, Danny feels like she\u2019s in over her head.<\/p>\n

She doesn\u2019t have much time to adjust. Dreadnought\u2019s murderer\u2014a cyborg named Utopia\u2014still haunts the streets of New Port City, threatening destruction.
